Answer: The decorative hydrant is 13.3" W x 25.7" H. The diameter of just the steel plate is 10" and it is 1" thick. The hole size for each stake is 5/8". Each dog hydrant comes with 4 stakes to keep it securely in place.

"it’s a little pricy for what you’re getting but I’m ordering another one because it makes people happy. The mounting spikes are a little delicate. It looks like they were the designed for safety and convenance so you have to take care not to damage the finish or break them. If you’re concerned about theft you’ll have to come up with a different anchoring system for set the spies in wet cement"

can this fire hydrant be filled with sand

I want to put this over a 6” post that is in the ground. If I remove the bottom, will it fit? What is the diameter of the hollow center?
